There is beauty in the desert that I have never before seen.

I don’t like the desert. I don’t know what to do with it. I am a daughter of the sea. But I now find the light in the desert to be as thrilling as the Earth is desolate. The sky is a raw open canvas upon which The Painter paints such sweeping fleeting images, the magnitude of which, brings me to my knees.

At sunrise and sunset I need only look up, and there beyond doubt, is the Face of God. Here in the desert, each day, I pause and wait and marvel…It is beyond Lovely.

I think the Sky here…is Sister to the Sea.
